Tony Ierardi, Strategic Engagements Lead
Tony Ierardi currently leads Strategic Engagements for Rebellion defense. Tony served in the U.S. Army for 37 years, retiring in August 2019. His culminating assignment was service as the Director, Joint Staff J-8 where he oversaw Joint Chiefs of Staff analytic assessments and all matters related to current and future requirements for forces, capabilities, budgets, and resources for the U.S. Joint Force. Tony directed a broad strategic portfolio and was closely involved in the development and initial implementation of the most recent National Defense Strategy. Prior to this assignment, he served as the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-8, HQ, Department of the Army and commanded the Army’s 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Hood, Texas.
Eric Schoonover, Engineering Lead
Eric Schoonover is a software engineer experienced in building high-scale, cloud-based systems. He has more than 15 years of experience working as a principal-level software engineer at Netflix, Microsoft, the U.S. Digital Service, the Defense Digital Service, and various startups. While at DDS, he managed all Air Force engagements and received the Department of the Air Force Decoration for Exceptional Civilian Service from the secretary of the Air Force. Eric has been with Rebellion since the company’s founding and leads the software engineering team.
