Geography 2050 (2021) Lightning Talk: Does Skill Make Us Human?

The talk explores the political consequences of defining some people as skilled and some people as unskilled, using the experience of migrant workers in Qatar’s construction industry as a case study. The label of “unskilled” was used to limit their freedom and political rights.
